I am very new to what it means to "detail" a vehicle.
I have found is that it's quite a bit more involved than a "wash & wax" at the local car wash.
I recently purchased a "new to me" (black & silver) vehicle.
The first day I had it, I proudly took it to work to show it off and parked under the garage lights.
When the folks I work with came out to look at it they were very helpful to point out all the
scratches and swirl marks covering the vehicle and the entire black hood.
It looked like the previous owner had buffed it with 80 grit sandpaper!
Now I am on a quest to obtain the best swirl free finish and brightest wet shine possible.
I am looking forward to the wealth of information from the folks on this forum.
I just ordered the DVD and I am looking forward to it's arrival.
To begin, I purchased a PC, LC pads, polish, sealant and LSP's and started the process.

This is my result so far.

BTW- It should be against the law to sell a black vehicle to someone with OCD
